So last weekend I finally decided to get rid of a ton of stuff that had been sitting in my mom’s basement for literally years. We’re talking old mattresses, broken shelves, random bags of who-knows-what — the usual junk. The team we hired did take everything out, but they left behind quite a mess — dust, splinters, even some packing materials they didn’t touch. It wasn’t horrible, but I kinda assumed they’d sweep or at least leave the place a little tidier. Now I’m wondering — are there companies that actually take the time to help clean up too, or is that just not part of the deal?

That’s a good question, and I’ve wondered the same. A while ago I helped my cousin clear out his attic before moving, and we were surprised by how clean it looked afterward — way better than we expected. Turned out the team actually did a light sweep and moved things carefully without making a mess. We used a service that we found through https://nationalmovers.org/reviews/1-800-got-junk/, and a lot of the reviews there also mention how the workers are neat and respectful of the space. If you're curious, you can also find info about How Much Does 1-800-GOT-JUNK Cost on that same page, which helped us budget everything ahead of time. So yeah, some companies definitely do go the extra mile — you just need to look for the ones with solid feedback.
